Welcome to Ms. Block’s 5^thgrade class

I graduated from Lamar University in December 2012. I was a subsitute for a year at PNG ISD and I taught my first year in Port Arthur. I then spent the next 5 years in Buna. This is my 11^th year in education.  This is my 10^th year teaching 5^th grade math.This is my fith year at Fairfield, and I am so excited to be here.

I moved here 5 years ago. I have a farm with goats, chickens, duck, turckeys, pigs, and rabbits. my favorite thing to do when not working is fishing. I also have a great love of reading.

I have one shild that is 23 years old and she graduated from LU as a summa cum laude. She plans to get a masters and become a professor of art and she currently lives in Shreveport.
