Teacher
I was born a raised a Groesbeck Goat! I graduated in 2005 from Groesbeck High School and earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2009.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UT Tyler. I am certified to teach 4-8 Math and 7-12 Math.
In 2017, I was chosen to participate in the Jump$tart Financial Educators’ Conference in Washington, D.C.
This is my first year at Fairfield Intermediate. I am teaching 5th grade Math and this is my 5th year teaching. I am very excited to join Fairfield ISD!
Prior to joining Fairfield, I was a High School teacher. I taught Algebra I, Algebra II, and Financial Math at Corsicana High School for 3 years and I taught for one year at Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler. I have also taught English at an adult learning center in China and also worked at a foster home for special medical needs children. During college I worked at The Boys and Girls Clubs of East Texas and Pine Cove Christian Camps.
I am married with 2 kiddos and a foreign exchange “daughter” from Spain this year! Bailey and Cason go to Mildred Schools and Teresa attends Fairfield HS. I have a dog named Sasha, a turtle named Bowser, and 3 chickens with no name!
I enjoy: coffee, reading, biking, traveling, movies, family game nights, hiking, and learning about other cultures.
