Ms. Chambers’ Class Information

The following information is communicated to your child the first week of school, and is reinforced throughout the year. It applies to students on Ms. Chambers’ roster, as well as students on Mrs. Robertson’s roster. Ms. Chambers and Mrs. Robertson are partners that uphold the same standards of respect and responsibility in the classroom, and honor the same Eagle Bucks rewards system.

Behavior Expectations

Students in my class must sign the Class Promise, and acknowledge the two pillars of cooperative behavior: 1. Respect, and 2. Responsibility.

1. Respect includes self-respect, respecting others, and respecting the tools and materials of the classroom. Respect is demonstrated through actions that include: speaking kindly to others, cleaning up after yourself, and avoiding negative self-talk such as “I’m stupid”.
2. Responsibility is imperative to a cooperative environment, and important for personal growth. Students will demonstrate responsibility through actions such as: honesty, being a good listener, following instructions, and always doing your best work.

Eagle Bucks

Student is responsible for keeping track of their Eagle Bucks ledger.

Communication

A parent’s response to teacher communication allows their child to earn bonus Eagle Bucks. Please respond, sign, and return communications in your child’s Communicator in a reliable and timely manner to qualify.

In the event of an intended absence, please notify Ms. Chambers via email as soon as possible.
