This is my first year teaching at FIS and my first year to teach in FISD! I am currently teaching 4^th grade Science and Social Studies. Science and Texas History have always been some of my favorite subject areas and I am so excited to get to teach them this year!!

Prior to this year, I taught in Mexia ISD for 10 years, 2 years at the Junior High teaching Composite Family Consumer Science and 8 years at the High School teaching Culinary Arts. Before I transitioned to teaching, I worked as a caseworker and supervisor for Child Protective Services for 8 years. 

I have been married for 17 years and have 3 daughters, Ryleigh (15), Emily (10), and Bailee (2). When I am not at school, you can likely find me at an Eagle sporting event cheering on my kids. When we are not in school or playing sports, we love to travel.
